Licenses

1.This License grants you, the purchaser, an ongoing, non-exclusive, worldwide license to make use of the digital work ( Item) you have selected. Read the rest of this license for the details that apply to your use of the Item.
You understand that the same Item may be referred to as Julio CMMS, Julio, JulioCMMS, com_juliocmms, com_jcmms, JCMMS.
2.You are licensed to use the Item to create one single End Product for yourself or for one client (a “single application”), and the End Product may be Sold to this client, but not to more than one client You are to purchase a different license for each client. You are to observe our user limits for the particular license option you purchased.
3.An End Product is one of the following things, both requiring an application of skill and effort.
- (a)A customized implementation of the Item.
  
  For example, the item is a Joomla extension and the end product is an application incorporating this extension as well as other things, the whole application centered on the solution this item provides . For example a Joomla website designed to offer Maintenance Management Services to subscribed users, and running on Julio CMMS extension of Joomla.
- (b)A customized implementation of the Item as well as other things, such that it is larger in scope and different in nature than the Item.
  
  For example, the item is a Joomla extension and the end product is an application incorporating this extension as well as other things, but runs this extension on the background - not noticeable to the public, or just one of the features of a large application. For example, a Joomla! website designed to advertise a product/products but runs a Julio CMMS extension for maintenance management at the administrator back-end.

4.You can create the End Product for a client, and this license is then transferred from you to your client. Your client is not permitted to resell it. Your client is to buy another license if he/she wants to resell.

5.This license is a “single application” , "single site" license and not a “multi-use” license, which means that you can’t use the Item to create more than one unique End Product. However you can use a single license for different instances of one End product on sub-domains of a site. You are allowed to have a maximum of 3 instances running at any time: 1 for production and a maximum of 2 for development. You are to get separate licenses for each domain if you want to install them on different domains. You cannot use this item to run an online subscription service - neither free nor paid.
6.You can’t re-distribute the Item as stock, in a tool or template, or with source files. You can’t do this with an Item either on its own or bundled with other items, and even if you modify the Item. You can’t re-distribute or make available the Item as-is or with superficial modifications.
7.You can’t use the Item in any application allowing an end user to customise a digital or physical product to their specific needs, such as an “on demand”, “made to order” or “build it yourself” application. You can use the Item in this way only if you purchase a separate license for each final product incorporating the Item that is created using the application.

Examples of “on demand”, “made to order” or “build it yourself” applications: website builders, “create your own” slideshow apps. You will need one license for each product created by a customer, or contact us with a proposal.
8.You must not permit an end user of the End Product to extract the Item and use it separately from the End Product. You must not make, or permit an end user to make a mobile app that could serve the same purpose as this product's mobile application. You are not permitted to make any mobile application client to this program.

9.Some Scripts in the Items are partially subject to a GNU General Public License (GPL) or another open source license. For such, a ‘split license’ applies. This means that the open source license applies to an extent that’s determined by the open source license terms and the nature of the script, and this license applies to the rest of the Item.

All improvements on your purchased copy of the software for your use can only be done by the buyer or the buyer's client. Not a third. You cannot make several copies of the software and give to different developers to be working on for you. You(individual or company) are either the developer or your client is the developer. If you(company) hire a developer, you(individual) accept to be responsible for whatever he/she does with the codes. If he breaks any part of our license terms, you accept to bear the consequences. Every developer must be registered and approved with juliocmms.com as a developer before they are allowed to work on the codes except if they are the buyer of the software. Each Individual involved must fill the developer's form on juliocmms.com and wait for approval notification mail. You accept to not take any action that will lead to a copy of the software being given to anybody outside this license terms.

All features you build into the software must never be distributed to any other buyer of the software. They must be with the same client company or individual that made the improved copy. You are not to render any free or paid service for companies or individuals running the software that may prevent them from patronising the same service being offered by the Julio CMMS team except on permission from juliocmms.com management.

10.All licenses give you the source code, permit you to use it on a single end product which you are allowed to charge money for provided you will return 60% of your profit after an initial 50% profit.
Example: If you bought Julio CMMS at the cost of $5000, your 50% profit is $2500. So if you sell it at $7500 for the scenario in this example, you are not to return anything to us. If however you sell it $9500 instead, you are to return 60% of the remaining profit - in this case 60% of ($9500 - $7500) = $1200. If you buy it at $5000 and resell at $9000, you are to return $1200 to us.
The number of users is as described by your option. The count is on technical users who receive Work Order Assignments only. So you can have as many users as you like on your Joomla website but only the number of users in your license limit can receive Work Order assignments. The system alerts you when your limit is exceeded. You are not to try to convert a lower license example a Starter license to a higher license example Professional since you have the codes. Instead, you are to buy the Upgrade Pack and upgrade to a higher license. There is a license option which does not have user limits - Enterprise.
You must not use one license to sell to 2 individuals who do not belong to the same company or group, neither to 2 companies, nor to an individual and a company. You must buy a separate license for each client.

11.This license can be terminated if you breach it. If that happens, you must stop making copies of the End Product until you remove the Item from it.
12.The owner(s) of juliocmms.com retain(s) ownership of the Item but grants you the license on these terms. This license is between the author of the Item and you.
